The reserved water behind the tall dam body gains a huge amount of potential energy.. This energy goes through 8 turbine generator each of them has a capacity of 250 megawatt. This water exits the powerhouse after producing sufficient kinetic energy and adds to the calm river flow. Underground hydro mechanical facilities are provided to commence and protect these procedures.
